Singapore

We both loved Singapore, it’s our second favourite city after Melbourne. Beautiful, spacious with relaxed vibes.

Marina bay sands, quite the unusual building! A boat on top of three towers, I remember seeing this in a magazine and thinking it was really unusual! But when your standing up close looking up at the 67m cantilever it’s pretty impressive! And very fitting for the Harbour skyline.

The helix bridge pictured above, with marina bay sands in the backdrop. Interesting looking bridge!

The fountain of wealth is 14metres high made from silicone bronze and follows the feng shui principles. The inward flow of water symbolises life and wealth in Suntec city and the riches pouring in.

I’m sure theres probably a DC superhero cafe in london but I haven’t seen it so I thought this was pretty cool! The cafe seats were all comic books and the menu looked coool aha

lotus flower shaped Artscience museum. Went to an exhibition called futureworld: where art meets science. Quite a fun exhibition!

Digital impression of the sea.

We did some colouring in :p I know …the architectural shading is shocking! Aha

We scanned our car onto a machine then it came to life on the wall aha .. how cool! Also did a sea horse :p

Representation of space !

Went on a nice long walk through MacRitchie nature trail, going through the rain Forest.

One of the trails was a treetop walk over a very bouncy suspension bridge! 😦

It was surprisingly high! Ha who would of guessed on a treetop walk! Helena found it quite amusing me not letting go of both of the handrails! aha

Spot the terrapin!

Cheese on a smoothie seemed to be a popular thing in Singapore. Surprisingly nice! (Vegan cheese ofcourse)

Beautiful gardens to walks around aswell.

Always keeping an eye on the london time :p

Thought the tree roots looked quite interesting!

Sitting in evolution garden surrounded by stone trees! Never knew trees turn to stone! Called petrified trees! the result of permineralization, a process where organic materials have been replaced with minerals such as quartz. You learn something new every day! 🙂

Went to the beach. Got there and it started raining, doh! Still went for a nice stroll under our umbrella instead!
